Couture Redifined

Jason Davell is a Chicago native fashion designer whose work centers on structure, craftsmanship, and sculptural form. Educated at the Illinois Institute of Art, he began designing at age eight and opened his first custom design studio while still a sophomore, quickly gaining recognition and placement in Oak Street boutiques by the age of 21.

Influenced by the Queen Anne and Victorian architecture of Chicago’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood, Davell approaches fashion as wearable architecture. His signature corsetry explores body language, regality, and grace through a contemporary lens, continuing Chicago’s tradition of sophisticated custom tailoring in both womenswear and select menswear.
